Set your booking hours

The hours clients can actually book—separate from when your door happens to be open.

When to use it

Use booking hours when your normal weekly pattern changes: a new day off, later Tuesdays, or a permanent break between morning and afternoon sessions. For a one-off—one Friday away or one late start—name the date instead of changing the weekly rule.

Steps

  1. Open booking settings Go to Settings, open Booking, and find Business hours.
  2. Choose a day Open the day whose recurring hours need to change.
  3. Set the time Choose the opening and closing time, or add another block for a split day.
  4. Save Save the day and verify the weekly schedule.

What clients experience

Someone asking for “Thursday afternoon” is offered only openings inside your booking hours that are also free on your connected calendar. If another booking system is still in use, point both systems at one Google Calendar and keep Approve first on while they coexist.

Troubleshooting

A client was offered a time you do not work

Check whether the weekly booking-hours rule includes that time. Then check the connected calendar for an event marked as free rather than busy.

Your new hours are not showing publicly

Return to Settings → Booking → Business hours and confirm the day shows the saved time. If it does not, open the day again and save the change.

You need one week to be different

Name the dates: “No bookings the week of the 14th.” Booking hours define the repeating pattern; dated exceptions change only the period you name.
